SquareUp

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

SquareUp is a tool for keeping track of who owes whom after a private, in-person home poker game. It does not facilitate betting or handle real-money transactions. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the app:

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Deleting your account removes your phone number and login, and clears your name from shared game history. Records of past games are kept in an anonymised form so the other players’ settled results remain intact.

Security

Your sign-in session is stored securely on your device, and data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

SquareUp is not directed to children and is intended for adults playing informal home games.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
